
Benjamin R. Imhoff

He is experienced in preparing and prosecuting patent and trademark applications before the United States Patent and Trademark Office. Ben is also experienced in ICANN domain name dispute resolution.
Mr. Imhoff’s experience primarily includes working in the medical technology field, specifically with patient monitoring and therapy devices and systems as well as hospital data and communication networks. He also has experience in a variety of other electrical and mechanical applications such as electrical sensors, water filtration, men’s apparel, construction equipment, and paper manufacturing technology.
Ben is a graduate of Marquette University College of Engineering (B.S. Biomedical Engineering, cum laude, 2003) and University of Wisconsin Law School (J.D., cum laude, 2006). While at Marquette Ben was a member of the Math, Engineering, and Biomedical Engineering Honor Societies. While at UW law school, he was on the Intellectual Property Moot Court Team and a member of the Intellectual Property Students' Organization.
Mr. Imhoff is admitted to practice in Wisconsin and before the Eastern and Western District Courts of Wisconsin. He is also a registered patent attorney, licensed to practice before the United States Patent & Trademark Office. He is a member of the American Bar Association, the American Intellectual Property Law Association, and the Wisconsin Intellectual Property Law Association.
Prior to joining Andrus, Sceales, Starke and Sawall, Ben performed medical technology research at the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, resulting in the scholarly publication of his work.
