
Rebecca B. Scarr
Rebecca Scarr , Ph.D., focuses her practice on domestic and international patent prosecution. She also provides client counseling related to freedom-to-operate, noninfringement, and invalidity opinions, as well as patentability analyses and due diligence.
Rebecca’s experience includes prosecution and client counseling in the areas of antibodies, biological assays and research tools, diagnostic methods, methods of treatment, genes, proteins, and small molecule therapeutics.
Prior to joining Andrus, Sceales, Starke & Sawall, LLP, Rebecca spent over eight years in the Palo Alto office of Finnegan, Henderson, Farabow, Garrett & Dunner, LLP. Rebecca has authored several scientific research articles, and has written and presented on many aspects of intellectual property law.
